Its good. They just got the ability to take credit cards a couple of years ago. They're more interested in food a service. They do those really well.
Yes
Takeout is better than NOOUT ;)
Was there yesterday and they currently are open for carryout only. They open at 4 pm.
Everything is homemade, and their guacamole is wonderful! We love it there. 👍👍👍
If you love authentic Mexican food but not the high prices.. this place is it! Something for everyone! Great customer service as well!!!
This is the BEST Mexican restaurant in Michigan!! I've been going to Nachos for almost 30 years. The food is fresh, the staff is friendly. It is amazing!!
Wonderful supper! I had the soft-crunch tacos. These are the best! And the service was excellent.
Food was very bland, not spicey like real Mexican food! Just regular chili over a burrito. Taco Bells food taste much better cost much less! Sorry Nachos, but its my honest opinion of the food served that evening. Good service, good atmosphere!
Love eating here. Only bad thing is you get charged for nachos and salsa. Most mexican places its free.
Staff is very friendly. Price is very good. Hot sauce is nice. Only mexican restaurant I go to in Imlay City
All of the servers are very friendly, usually not a really long wait to be seated, if bringing picky kids just keep in mind that they do not have fries or any standard "American" fare that some kids might be wanting. The portions are large. My husband can eat a LOT and barely put a dent in his nachos. Also to keep in mind - the chips and salsa are not complimentary, a large bowl with salsa is roughly 5 dollars. We have dined here several times over the years and have never left not happy. The food has a personal preparedness as opposed to looking and tasting commercial/chain restaurant. Enjoy!
Delicious food, friendly staff, comfortable environment and reasonable prices.
Best food that I have had. Very home cooked feel and taste
A lot of food, for not a lot of money...but also not the best food, either. Free drink refills. Chips and salsa are not free. Red salsa is very bland; get the green salsa, instead, which is medium heat.
Food was average, service good. Over priced for what we had. Everything extra. Salsa needs a little zip to the mild sauce. Not saying it wasn't fresh, just average. Sorry
The fact they fry their own chips in house was a clue that the meal to follow was going to be fantastic. I had the burrito dinner (one steak, one bean/cheese). Husband had the Aztec taco entree. Both were good and spicy with amazing flavor. Definitely recommend if you're passing through. It's not far from Van Dyke.
Food is good but the service has went way downhill.
True authentic Mexican food. Incredibly friendly staff, excellent speedy service, huge portions, perfect food! Highly recommend the chicken fajita burrito, the wet beef burrito, and the RBG with a side of chips and cheese.
This Resturant has delicious authentic Mexican food. There corn chips are delish & hot sauce is made fresh and out of this world. This is a favorite of mine. Has a separate room in the back for large parties.
Chips are fresh. Mild salsa tasted bland, hot salsa was decent. Food was lack luster for me.
Says they are open call...no answer hang up call again...busy....call again no answer. If they aren't open during this time they need to advertise their correct hours of operation! Not say they are open till ion!!!!!
Great food and service
Homemade chips are worth the price, free ones in other Mexican restaurants are not. Recipes coming from their Mom in San Antonio, 2 sisters run this charming location, willing to ramp up the heat to satisfy even the best Tex-Mex fan. Portions were large, rice was excellent, staff was personable, attentive and satisfaction oriented. Great Mexican music in the background completed this dining experience.
Not a very good impression - I ordered the street tacos dinner. Three tacos, bean & rice, no option on the meat. I was surprised that they had used ground beef with taco seasoning, the tortillas were soaked in oil and the rice was overcooked. I can’t speak for the whole menu, but this was not very good. How can you get this so wrong! Also, I ditto the comments on charging extra for the chips. FYI the next day on my business trip back home I stopped in at Moe’s Southwestern Grill, never knew it existed. What a great experience for 2/3’s of the price of Nachos.
Only Mexican restaurant that I've ever been to that you have to pay for the chips and salsa, almost $5 and no refills. I ordered the enchilada dinner and was charged $3.59 to add ground beef to my 2 small enchiladas. The enchiladas were topped with chili that tastes like hormel chili, the rice was dry and did not much flavor and the beans were so runny I had a hard time eating them with a fork. Definitely was not authentic Mexican food.
Always great! The staff is very friendly. The food is delicious! 👍👍👍
Ive tasted hospital food with more flavor
This is a favorite place for my dad and I do have a father-daughter lunch. We always enjoy it! I especially like their chicken fajitas, the meat is very tender and juicy and absolutely amazing! The Waitresses here are very friendly and attentive too.
Great, friendly service - well portioned delicious food
Super dry steak with the steak fajitas. Also got the combo plate which was overloaded with lettuce and the ground beef wasnt seasoned. Terrible experience there. Will not be returning.
Even while they were busy, the wait staff were pleasant and helpful. I asked if they would provide lighting candles on the cake for ladies birthday lunch...and they did. In a timely manner and with a smile! Much thanks!
Love their food. Always friendly service.
Great Service,Clean ,Nice atmosphere and Very Good Food
Such good food, and great service. I always stop in every time I'm in the area
The tortilla chips are made fresh the salsa is good. The wet burrito was excellent. The wait staff was kind. The only downside is the chips aren't complementary.
I haven't been here in a while, but it's worth a rating. I love the cinnamon chips deep fried flour tortilla with cinnamon and butter honey. Also Nacho's Taco. My favorites.
Nice and comfy. Servers are wonderful. The bean and beef dip was extremely hot. Which may be the case of using Chef Mic. The Microwave not only heats the food up but causes the dish to be hotter than the food.
I love this place! It would have to be my favorite Mexican restaurant for miles and miles around! There chicken fajitas are AMAZING!! they are juicey, tender and flavorful. I always enjoy the rice too.. and the chips are great too! THANK YOU FOR A GREAT RESTAURANT!! Keep up the good work! :]
Friendly staff and quick service. I stopped with my family and everyone enjoyed the food. I ordered a burrito and it was typical Mexican food. The friendly staff is weekday stood out for me.
Great service good Mexican food, comfortable environment. I will come here even though I live 30 minutes away. Tacos are a must and the hot sauce is perfect.
The grilled chicken dinner is absolutely DELICIOUS!! I don't know what they do but it's just about the best chicken dinner you can buy. GREAT taste! The chips are amazing, and are well worth your consideration.Nacho is a gentle and kind Mexican man who does his best to make his customers feel welcome.Great place!
The best Mexican food in 3 counties!
Things change over time. Still good but...not what it was.
Amazing food nothing compares, people friendly, clean. This is the best Mexican food I've ever ate. Wet Burrito Supreme just melts in your mouth,Hot Salsa is amazing, the chips are one of a kind. I'd eat here everyday if I could. ❤
Nice little place tucked away on the main street of Imlay City. I had the 3D Tostada, and my lunch partner had the chicken enchilida. Both were very tasty. My partner was impressed with the cleanliness!
Got a carry out tonight. The woman doing to-gos was so sweet and efficient. Thank you Nacho's for a great dinner as always!
Best Mexican food around Michigan! You must eat here if you haven't already. Been eating here for year's and have never been disappointed. Great family restaurant with EXCELLENT food!
Food is great and so is service.
Awesome Service and Food is Outstanding!!
Always great food and attentive service.
One of the better places to eat in Imlay City. The burritos are large and tasty. The menu has what you would expect from a Mexican restaurant and a few choices for kids too.
This was our first visit. Food and service was spectacular. I would definitely go again.
This place is a joke! They charged us $16 for 4 tacos!! No sides or anything, just the tacos! Pricing is way to high for the quality of food and condition of restaurant. We will not go back..too many hidden charges and staff was very rude and unapologetic when I called to discuss the matter.
Heads up- you pay for chips and salsa. It is stated on the menu so you cannot fault them for that... Anyway! The wet burrito supreme is my go-to order. Very moist, and very large portions- only complaint it seems to be lacking in the cheese dept but I can move past that. Very comfortable, laid back restaurant- hours arent great (They close at 8 during the week, and are closed Sunday and Monday). Always have good service.
